The Citroën C3 Picasso has power steering that adjusts to your speed and the angle of the steering wheel. The steering becomes firmer at high speeds for safety and lighter at low speeds for easy manoeuvering.

With up to six airbags, the Citroën C3 Picasso helps keep you and your passengers safe and sound. It has two at the front, four at the side and two in the roof.

The Citroën C3 Picasso has an innovative and comprehensive braking system.

- There are four large vented disc brakes.
- An ABS (anti-lock braking system) function adjusts braking pressure electronically to stop the wheels locking.
- Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) spreads braking power evenly to all four wheels.
- Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA) boosts braking power instantly when the driver brakes hard.
- A traction control (ASR) system immediately brakes the drive wheels in a skid.

Your smallest passengers are safe and secure in the Citroën C3 Picasso:

- There are anchorage points for fitting two Isofix child seats in the back seat.
- Electric safety locks for the rear doors are within easy reach of the driver.
- Warning lights and sounds let you know if seatbelts are undone in the back seat.
