As a mark of Citroën’s environmental commitment, the Citroën C3 Picasso's 1.6HDi 90hp engine meet the conditions for the Airdream signature:

-  CO2/km emissions of 120g or less
-  manufactured in a plant that is ISO 14001 certified
-  designed to be 95% recoverable at the end of life.

The HDi engines set the benchmark in their category for CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. Their electronically controlled system optimises the air/fuel mix and significantly reduces pollution.

The Citroën C3 Picasso’s 1.6HDi 90hp engine is fitted with a particulate filter (DPFS) that traps and burns the particles produced by the engine. This brings the level of particulate emissions from the car to barely measurable levels.
