For over 100 years, Citroën has been somewhat obsessed with comfort. So, we took on the mission of finding Dublin's most speed bump populated road. Thanks to a close vote on Joe.ie, we found our winner - the Ballymun road.

With this information to hand, there wasn't much more to do than to grab a classic vinyl record player, speakers, an ë-C4 X and put it to the true Citroën test. See how we got on below!

We're all about comfort

Citroën has poured all it's expertise in comfort into the Citroën Advanced Comfort programme.

 

This programme has 4 objectives, including ride comfort. Its aim is to shield occupants from the outside world, both by raising the suspension and reducing noise levels, so they feel like they are cocooned in a Citroën. Citroën puts you first by creating a cosy interior with suspension designed to smooth out the bumps in the road, comfortable seats and insulating and soothing acoustics.

 

What better car to use than the one that encompasses the Citroën Advanced Comfort programme, New Citroën ë-C4 X.

THE SET UP

Showcasing the "Flying Carpet" effect

We kitted our Citroën ë-C4 X out with a vinyl record player and two speakers to show the true qualities of our patented Progressive Hydraulic Cushion Suspension.

 

To do this, we would need a functional set up in the back of the car. As you can see, it got quite technical!

 

With a power station and mixer in the boot, speakers and vinyl in the front we were on our way.
